I thought my eyes were going to melt out of their sockets while editing this.  I caught one of those irritating summer colds that starts with burning eyes.  Tears were streaming down my face as a I chased dots.  This chapter was particularly nasty in terms of the backside bleed through problem...ugh!!!

This chapter gives us yet a little more insight in Chiro's actual wish.  Enjoy the last four pages of this chapter :).  Chapter 16 is full of Chiro and Ritsu themed cosplay.  I guarantee that chapter will be lots of fun.  At the end of the next chapter a new character will be introduced that will drive Chiro and Ritsu closer together, culminating in a very lovely, visually and story wise, 20th chapter!

Orange Chocolate Chapter 9

Orange Chocolate Chapter 6

Here's Orange Chocolate Chapter 6.  Some minor changes were made to the pages I released for the preview, so make sure you read the the whole thing.  We finally get to the beginning of Chiro and Ritsu's dance.  I apologize now for the nasty cliffhanger.

Next up is very short Hana-Kimi omake from Sept 2008.  It's only 8 pages, so it shouldn't take too long once I start translating it (I plan to start on Monday unless I find time this weekend.  Tomorrow I need to work on my websites).  After the Hana-Kimi omake, then it's onto Orange Chocolate Chp 7.

These are video of "Fuji Musume" or "The Wisteria Maiden" starring Tamasaburo.  I was really lucky to find this videos because they include EXCELLENT commentary in English about what's going on during the dance.  I wouldn't have been able to appreciate the dance at all without the commentary, so I HIGLY recommend viewing these to gain a greater appreciation of Nichibu Onnagata and of the events going on in "Orange Chocolate."

Orange Chocolate Chp 1 Scanlation

Here is Chapter 1 of "Orange Chocolate," our newest project.  Sapphire Pyro wrote a great introduction to the series on Hyper Parfait. Many thanks to Pyro!


Just a warning, the main female character, Chihiro, does refer to herself in the third person.  I wouldn't interpret this as she's being narcissistic, so much as in her head she is still 4-yrs old.  I think we've all seen quite a few manga and anime series in which little kids refer to themselves in the 3rd person.  For me it was a bit off-putting at first, but now I see that it's just part of Chiro's charm.  My hope is as the story progresses, Chiro will mature and quit talking like a 4-year old.  I guess we'll just have to wait and see.
