    Here are my three favorite pages from the January 2011 Ouran special chapter.  The rest of the one-shot is mostly the story of "special guest star"  poor little rich girl Nanako sandwiched in a Barcelona travel brochure.  So, no, it's not really about Kyouya either.  It's more like a normal random chapter of Ouran in which the Host Club helps some person in distress.  Anyhow, please enjoy this preview.  We'll try to get the rest of the one-shot completed before the end of the month.

"Yukarism" Preview

    Here is a preview of the one of our new series for 2011 called "Yukarism".  It's by Chika Shiomi the author of "Yurara" and "Rasetsu".  This is only a preview so it hasn't been QC'ed or proofread yet. Please forgive any typos or errors I haven't caught yet.  Hopefully, this little preview will give you some idea about the quality of the artwork (actually, I've saved the best parts because there are some stunningly gorgeous pages that I want to leave as a surprise) and a feel for the main characters.  I'm already very fond of the maid.

    We are aiming to release the full 52-page chapter on January 22nd.  Please feel free to give us some early feedback.

Ouran Special Short Story and Commemoration

    The Ouran Commemoration in Lala Special issue 12/2010 contains a lot of stuff.  I stuck to the stuff that was most interesting to me and took into consideration what might appear in Volume 18 when it's finally released in English.  Five chapters were selected as key chapters to re-read.  They are chapters 4, 20, 36, 52, and 80.  These key chapters were reprinted and took up the bulk of the commemoration.  Interspersed between the chapter re-prints were interviews and Ouran trivia.  I imagine most of this stuff will appear when Volume 18 is finally released in English from Viz, plus, my interest level is low, so I decided not to translate it.  At the end, a 60-page sequel one-shot was announced.  It will appear in Lala 3, which releases in Japan on January 24th 2011.  We will, of course, translate it and it will be posted on this blog for a month.  Here is the preview:

    And now for the short story.  It's only 6-pages, but it's fun! Though, I was hoping for something longer that actually extended the story...

Teaser: Orange Chocolate Chapters 18 and 19

    Here's a little teaser to get you ready for the double release of "Orange Chocolate" chapters 18 and 19.  I decided to do a double release because these two chapters go together well and it would be cruel to keep you all waiting in between chapters.  Also, I didn't want to break the emotional momentum that builds in chapter 18.

    We're slowly slogging through "Nemurenu Kishi ni Hanataba wo" so I figured to get to folks interested, I've post a short preview of the story.  The first part is mostly humorous, but the ending might induce a few tears.  Anyhow...this isn't the final version and there maybe typos, but here you go:

"Kimi ni XOXO" Teaser

    Here's a short preview of  "Kimi ni XOXO!" The section I am previewing is at the transition from the lackluster sweetness of the middle-beginning (the very beginning is very funny) to the funny and spunky goodness of the second half.  I hope you enjoy it and I hope it gets you to anticipate the chapter in its entirety.  Please excuse any typos or errors you see. This has yet to go under any quality check and is subject to be a little different in the final version.




    The truth of matters is that the fairy-like creature name "Echo" salvages this manga.  Her wacko impishness brings out the humor in the main character, Fujita.   I'm still aiming for a June 6th release date, but don't be surprised if it slips to the 7th or 8th because it is a big challenge to clean and edit the images.  I will be translating the second chapter of this series because I do want to know what happens.  After that, I will make the decision about whether or not to take this on as a project.Source URL: https://aminefairy.blogspot.com/search/label/preview

Orange Chocolate Chp 12 Preview

    Here's a short preview of "Orange Chocolate" chapter 12




    Chapter 12 is an important chapter that moves things along quite a bit :).  (No worries, the series is not ending anytime soon as far as I know...though I hope it doesn't drag on for years...)  It will most like be ready before the 22nd and I'm mulling over the possibly of putting chapter 13 out in early June to relieve myself and everyone from a very evil cliffhanger.

    Oh, FYI ... "Orange Chocolate" is currently on chapter 18 in Japan.  I've been trying to maintain a pace of two chapters a month until I catch up with the current release.  Once I catch up, it will become a monthly release that will come out in English about 1-week after release in Japan.Source URL: https://aminefairy.blogspot.com/search/label/preview
