Despite the appendicitis set back that began May, things went very well. We plowed through a lot of series and had a successful trial of "Seirei Produce." We will be continuing "Seirei Produce" as a joint project with La Noche de los Caidos and Hayana. The other two teams will be translating SP into Spanish and French, respectively. I'm happy to report as we exit May, the return of Sephyna and Kuma-chan. Welcome back!

Here is "Orange Chocolate" chapter 13. Just a note so you'll be aware as you read this, the narrator changes to Ritsu towards the end of the chapter (pg 37-ish). It's hard to convey this in English since English has no male or female version of "I." Anyhow, this chapter starts to give us insight into Ritsu thinking and into Chiro's seemingly surprising confession.

Kimi no XOXO Update

Update 5/31:
Things have picked up quite a bit now that the fairy creature appeared. The sweetness is quickly going away...yippee!!!! There's hope for this :).

I just finished translating the first chapter and it ended nicely. I can't make the decision whether to pick up this series based on the first chapter alone, so I will extend the trial to the 2nd chapter.
update 5/30:
Next up after this is the "Kimi no XOXO" trial. I've translated a little over a quarter of the first chapter and so far, it's different from what I expected (I was hoping for a farce...). First of all, it's extremely verbose which slows the pacing quite a bit when compared to a series like "Orange Chocolate." So far it takes itself more seriously than I expected and, over all, it seems to be aimed at late "tween"/ early teen audience. My initial feeling from these first few pages is that, though it is not bad, there may be series that are more suited my and the group's taste than this. I'll see if it picks up once the fairly-like creature is introduced. If it stays on the sweet with light humor track, then I will complete the first chapter so people will have an idea of what this series may be like and then move onto some other series that I've flagged. Detective School Q

Detective School Q adalah sebuah manga karya Seimaru Amagi dan Fumiya Sato yang juga merupakan pengarang Detektif Kindaichi. Bercerita tentang Grup Detektif yang berasal dari Sekolah Detektif yang dipimpin oleh Morihiko Dan. Pemeran utama pada komik ini bernama Kyu Renjo, seorang anak Kelas 3 SMP. Aizen armor is cut in half while Isshhin has a puzzeled look on his face

Urahara: So that Armor was'nt the final act but just a cacoon for Aizens transformation..
Yoruchi: What the hell is he?
Isshin stares at Aizen and see's that he has a hole in his chest with a pale white body
Aizen: I am the perfect breed between Hollow and Shinigami.As you can tell the former captains of SS were my expeiments in seeing if the two species can be one.
Isshin: Your just a crazed mad man..
Aizen then uses sonido and appears behind Isshin
Aizen: I had enough of your interruption...*He starts to form a cero and hit Isshin at point blank range which hurdles Isshin across the fields*...
Urahara: Go tend to Isshin while I discuss matters with this new subject..
Aizen: Now as I was saying..Those captains were my experiments but as you can tell their shinigami side over powered their hollow side which why they only can call on their masks...My former partner Tosen was over powered by his hollow side and thus his shinigami self vanished
Urahara: So this all sums up to you and Ichigo, What about the Gin kid?
Aizen: Like he needs anymore power than he has...

Ichigo: *This guy*....Are you afraid to fight me?

Ichigo: Im over here..are you tryna keep your distance or are you just scared to fight me?
Ichimaru: Well this is starting to become amusing...I see your using the same head games as i.

Ichimaru: You already know my purpose..*Starts to look at the other direction*.

Ichigo arrives at Unohana and she seemed to heal all the captains
Ichigo: Hurry up I have to go help Matsumoto!

Captain Hitsugaya: *Matsumoto*...!
Isshin: Hoyy hoyy...That wasnt even a full power Getsuga Tenshou...Stop playing dead Aizen
Aizen: I have to end this...Even fighting these special Captains is troublesome...
Yoruchi: Way to go easy on him Ishhin! You just cost us our lives...
Isshin: I was just letting Urahara get a little piece of him...Especially what he did to him...
Urahara: *Stares at a hidden Aizen under the rocks*...You had to go and place me in that situation...

Matsumoto: Well I came here just to hear that...Now I know theres no way to bring you back when you when theres nothing to bring back...
Ichimaru: Hmm?
Matsumoto: Finish me...*Im already dying and I bought Ichigo enough time*
