Kaichou-san no Koneko Chp 3 + Omakes

Yay! We've finally come to the conclusion of the short series "Kaichou-san no Koneko!"  I really enjoyed this series and I hope you did too.  I've bundled the two extra stories in this series with this release.  The first extra story is in a separate file and the second 3-page short story is tacked onto the end of chapter 3.  Here are the links:

Next up is "Orange Chocolate" chapter 11.  I'm narrowing down on some potential one shots.  There are 3 recently released one-shots from from Kiyo Fujiwara that have caught my eye.  They look like humorous boyhood slice-of-life stories.  The two that just came out in in "The Hana to Yume" and the Baby extra comic book look extra-heartwarming.  As for a new series, I'm looking for something with some action and romance.  I'm currently searching through Asuka magazine, Hana to Yume, BetsuHana, Lala DX, and The Hana to Yume.  Nothing in Lala has caught my eye.Source URL: https://aminefairy.blogspot.com/search/label/Kaichou-san%20no%20Koneko

"Kaichou-san no Konenko" Chp 2 Preview

I scanned the second chapter from a "Animal Special" comic book that came with an issue of either "Hana to Yume" or "BetsuHana,"  but I translated it from the tankoubon.  As I edit the manga, I've noticed that the two are slightly different...eh-heh-heh...oh well.  I prefer the tankouban version because it's more decorated than the "Animal Special" version...sigh.  Why did this happen?  Well, the tankouban was nearly impossible to scan without dissecting the book.  Oh well...here's a preview of what's coming up next in "Kaichou-san no Koneko:"








Cleaning is coming along nicely with lots of help from Silver Lunar, so I expect to meet the release date of 4/9.  This time, there's not much focus on the kitten, but rather the focus is on Reiichirou and Kotoko and Kotoko's "special" brother.  I imagine you can all guess what's going to happen.

I can't decide whether to do the omake before chp 3.  In a way I want to get to chapter 3 immediately because it is very funny, very sweet, and provides the ending we all want (except for Pyro...). New Series: Kaichou-san no Koneko Chp 1

Here it is!  "Kaichou-san no Koneko" -- "The Student Council President's Kitten"

Short Summary:  Uptight Student Council President Reiichiro Hayami gets dragged into taking care of a kitten.  How will the adorable kitten, Ku, change Reiichiro's life?

The whole series is actually a romantic comedy, though the romance doesn't begin until the second chapter :).

New Series: Kaicho-san no Koneko -- Coming Soon

Update 4/8/2010:  The mini-series includes three chapter of Kaicho-san no Koneko, one side story, a one-shot called "Gakuran Ouji" ("Gakuran Prince" -- a "gakuran" is a boy's school uniform that has a long jacket with a stand-up collar and loose pants), and a very short KNK extra story.  "Gakuran Ouji" has already been translated into English, so we will skip it, but will scanlate the rest.  I've translated about 60% of the first chapter and it's a good mix of humor and sweetness -- very much along the lines of "Orange Chocolate."

Cleaning this manga isn't a lot of work, so I think once it's translated, I can finish the editing in a day or two.  Because of this, I've decided to pull the first chapter up to April, with a new ETA of 4/12.  I will try to put out a short preview of the series tomorrow.

We're starting "Kaicho-san no Koneko" ("The Student Council President's Kitten") this month, though the release of the first chapter won't actually be until early May.  Anyhow, I thought I'd give you all a little taste of this very cute series.  It's only 3 chapters long, so it will go quickly!  Anyhow, here's the cover illustration:
