"Akagami no Shirayukihime" Chapter 20

Sorry all, we don't find out anything about the pretty boy from the boat...however, as a consolation gift, I promise you a nice close up of Izana (*smokin'*).  Anyhow, this chapter appears to be the set-up for the chapter 21 which, according to the previews will be extra long.  It's too bad we have to wait until October.

"Akagami no Shirayukihime" Chp 19

Holy crap that was a LOOOONG 4-months to wait!!!  Anyway, here is Akagami chp 19:

After this we have another long 2-month wait until the next issue of Lala DX in August.  Hopefully, then we'll find out what bit of "sweetness" Zen whispered into Shirayuki's ear on page 44 ;p.  I'm also looking forward to tons of fun adventure time with Obi and Shirayuki.

Oh! and here's a link to Hyper Parfait for Sapphire Pyro's excellent AnS chp 19 write-up! It kinda makes me wanna write up a "smart-ass" version of the chapter...heheheh.

Akagami no Shirayukihime Chp 17 Omake Translation

Here's a short extra story that occurs between Chp 17 and Chp 18 of "Akagami no Shirayukihime."  With this, we are all caught up with the latest out from Japan for ANS.  Chapter 18 will be released in Japan on February 10th in LalaDX.  This is the same day ZHD is released.  I will translate ZHD first before getting to ANS, so expect ZHD in English around Feb. 17th (maybe sooner if the chapter's 30-pgs) and then ANS around Feb 24th.

Akagami no Shirayukihime Chp 17 Translation

Here's "Akagami no Shirayukihime" chapter 17.  This is a sweet and fun chapter without any drama.  After this, there is an omake and then on to chapter 18 in February.  As a bonus I made a quick wallpaper out the extra drawing the mangaka included:

Akagami no Shirayukihime Chp 14 Translation

One of my proofreaders requested this one.  I guess the cliffhanger from chp 13 was unbearable :).  Anyhow, here it is:

I'm not formally taking on this series.  Rather, this was a special request.  However, if the request is made again, I don't mind translating this series when I have time.  It's quite a pleasant series.  It is currently at chp 18 and like ZHD, it is released once every two months.

As for Ouran 77 -- well, I did start looking at it more closely out of curiosity and because my husband gave me a kick in the pants and told me not to run away from the challenge.  It's not as bad as I thought it was ... As of now, though, I don't have time to do a scanlation before Christmas because  I've got lots of cooking and cleaning to do.  If I do release a scanlation, it will be shortly after Christmas.  It's not as gloomy and drama filled as I thought it would be and there are some funny moments.  More than anything, though, some major loose ends get tied up and Tamaki ends up with a new problem to deal with.


Anyhow, if you are curious, it sounds like Tamaki's mother has Lupus.  It's generally not fatal, but it's no fun :(.  Here's a link to some info.
